Abstract
In this dynamic time of increased tempo for Defence: there is a need for the rapid introduction of more capable military systems, enabled by technological change. These innovations exist today and are already being utilised by many industries. Technologies such as machine learning and AI, mixed reality and edge technology, enabled by hyperscale cloud, are bringing intelligent solutions to mission capability.
Hear about how Microsoft is assisting military operations such as disaster relief efforts by helping deploy systems, capability and personnel at higher, more sustainable rates. Imagine cloud-enabled solutions monitoring the performance of Defence assets and providing rapid insights all the way to the tactical edge through:
• Secure sharing of real time intelligence for situational awareness
• Utilising 5G and a sovereign cloud capability, supporting information exchange and interoperability
• Building an ecosystem of Australian Defence industry capability with our partners, enhancing Defence’s ability to deter and respond.
