Abstract
Cross domain solutions have long been a double-edged sword in information assurance, providing the necessary access to or transfer of data to keep missions successfully operating. These solutions, which connect previously standalone networks, have introduced additional data security, data duplicity and federated identity management concerns. While the implementation of cross domain transfer solutions far outweighs their access counterparts, the use of Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) in cross domain is changing the paradigm by decreasing the need for transfer and enabling access to data where it lives.
Biography
I currently have the privilege of serving as the Operations Manager for the Cross Domain & Virtualization Solutions group where I get to work with some of the smartest engineers I've met in my career. We're charged with building top-notch cross domain solutions, performing advanced R&D and growing a line of commercial software products for domestic and international customers.
My background has always focused on keeping data safe, working in the cross domain industry for over 20 years. My current passion is growing some of the most talented leaders in the industry and occasionally performing part time therapeutic duties for my colleagues.
