Abstract
When operational effectiveness is on the line, situational awareness and rapid decision-making are critical. Understanding and acting on complex, disparate data is the difference between mission success and failure. Whether the required data concerns readiness, locations, weather, biometrics, logistics, or live video feeds, the power of Splunk’s Enterprise platform, combined with its Internet of Things and automation capabilities, enables militaries to apply streaming data analytics, dataset correlation, and real-time, “single pane of glass” visualisations. The result is better, more informed military decisions. This session is based on work done by Splunk for the USAF AFWERX innovation program.
