Defence industry is at the crossroads of a rapidly changing technology environment converging with unprecedented cyber security threats. This poses many challenges and opportunities to defence industry.
This presentation will discuss those challenges and how defence industry can convert them into opportunities to better manage cyber security risk.
This session will highlight the challenges and opportunities for adopting leading cyber security platforms, master shadow IT, manage supply chain cyber risk and better collaboration amongst the primes.
BIOGRAPHY
Alex Nehmy has spent the past 20 years specialising in cyber security. With experience as CISO of Australia's largest defence prime and critical infrastructure organisations, Alex brings a wealth of industry experience in achieving cyber security outcomes.

BIOGRAPHY
David has over 25 years extensive technical and operational experience having served with the US Navy and national security organisations. In recent years he has led the design and deployment of Intelligence systems around the world. He has extensive experience in applying emerging technologies (such as Artificial Intelligence) to the challenges related to intelligence systems, rapid information analysis and dissemination. David has worked extensively on-site in Canberra with Australian Defence (Chief Information Officer’s Group) since 2012 and has also worked closely with other FYEY countries’ Militaries such as the US Marine Corps, delivering similar capabilities.
