ABSTRACT
Codan’s Tactical Communications division, based in Adelaide, South Australia, have been specialising in critical communications for over 60 years and selling reliable products to over 125 countries.
With the recent acquisition of DTC, Codan have introduced the MANET/Mesh to the range of high-quality communications products. The Mesh SDR’s are capable of up to 144 nodes using MeshUltra-X. The proprietary token passing ensures communications is reliable even in high node networks. The unparalleled capabilities of the DTC SDR products provides integrators and operators with the flexibility to produce products that are ‘fit for purpose’.
The Mesh SDR is available in several form factors and frequency ranges allowing easy integration into autonomous land, air and sea vehicles.
The OEM modules have been designed for low SWaP. Making them the number one choice for integration into even the smallest of drones.
The high power, robust, NetNodes bring long range capability to your mesh network. In a range of power from 2x2W up to 2x15W.
The soldier radio, SDR-H2, is the ultimate in soldier modernisation, allowing video, voice and IP data transfer in a single body worn unit.
As products are software defined, meaning options and updates can be added as they become available. Updates may include sovereign capability features such as encryption. All SDR’s can be ordered in a range of frequencies to suit your network e.g. UHF, L-Band, S-Band and C-Band.
There are a range of other mesh products in the Codan|DTC AIC range which will be covered in the seminar.
