ABSTRACT
Learn how to leverage the latest in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and Mixed Reality to rapidly analyse, process and enrich intelligence data and deliver a powerful intelligence briefing to geographically dispersed stakeholders through an immersive and interactive experience.
Addressing the current challenges of physical distance, information overload, delays in analysis and processing of intelligence data as well as loss of knowledge when operators rotate. This presentation will cover how to deliver “Automated Tradecraft” that will process all the information, regardless of volume and format, apply machine learning techniques to identify anomalies or patterns in the data, and direct the analysts to items of interest, plus enabling a comprehensive and interactive visual output of the analysis. This capability is presented in a mixed reality environment using HoloLens technology.
BIOGRAPHY
Rocky is a Platform Engineering Lead for Microsoft’s Azure Global team. He focuses on enabling Government clients to adopt and use advanced computing technologies. Having a diverse background as an aircraft engineer, electronic engineer and software engineer, he draws on his broad range of experience to enable creative solutions to advanced problems. Having also served as the regional manager for Mixed Reality at Microsoft covering Asia Pacific, Japan and China he has helped lead a new era of technology emerging through holographic computing. With over 20 years of experience in all facets of software development, Mixed Reality and Cloud he has worked with governments, law enforcement, aviation, health care, financial, game studio and ISV audiences. He is the author of the book “Designing Platform Independent Mobile Apps and Services.”

BIOGRAPHY
David has over 25 years extensive technical and operational experience having served with the US Navy and national security organisations. In recent years he has led the design and deployment of Intelligence systems around the world. He has extensive experience in applying emerging technologies (such as Artificial Intelligence) to the challenges related to intelligence systems, rapid information analysis and dissemination. David has worked extensively on-site in Canberra with Australian Defence (Chief Information Officer’s Group) since 2012 and has also worked closely with other FYEY countries’ Militaries such as the US Marine Corps, delivering similar capabilities.
