ABSTRACT
Zero trust practices use identity-based security and context-aware visibility to overcome legacy security architecture limitations, so that growing multi-cloud landscapes and work-from-anywhere requirements don't expand attack surfaces. This briefing will focus on how transitioning to a Zero Trust architecture improves the risk framework of the entire environment, while at the same time enabling the DOD to move to a “work comes from everywhere” strategy. The evolution to Zero Trust is facilitated by a natural progression from the DOD’s older architectures to a modern “cloud-delivered security” approach.
