ABSTRACT
Defence is facing increasing challenges in meeting the future spectrum requirements required to deliver the military capabilities of the future both from increasing pressure to share or release current Defence spectrum for civilian applications such as 5G and beyond mobile broadband, as well as a significant increase in the complexity and bandwidth required to meet Defence’s own spectrum requirements. This presentation will discuss these challenges and the pathway forward to ensure that Defence’s future spectrum demands are met.
