ABSTRACT
Australia and its allies are more than ever focused on the requirement to enhance collaboration capabilities at all levels (tactical, operational and strategic). These capabilities will be critical for enabling the outcomes being sought by the AUKUS partnership, and they will be vital for enabling the participation of the broader industry and academic communities who will play such a crucial role moving forward. In addition, as evidenced by the war in Ukraine placing the right cyber security around all military planning and execution has never been more important. You will hear from Australia’s Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and the success they’ve had in engaging a disparate, geographically dispersed field force using the latest solutions from the Microsoft Cloud. Protecting the security and privacy of Australian citizen information, particularly where personal, medical, and sensitive information is concerned, whilst also enabling that field force to be efficient, productive, and enabled in the widest variety of locations and circumstances has driven NDIA to deploy a set of technology solutions that have direct relevance and repeatability in other agencies and organisations around Australia. This session will cover the role contemporary collaboration and security platforms can play in supporting national security outcomes.
