Simon is an Executive with 27 years’ global corporate experience across Transportation, Pharmaceutical, Utility sectors. As an energetic, passionate, commercially astute and experienced Information Communication and Technology Executive, Simon has a proven ability to deliver sound IT solutions and delivering large scale global technology programs, organisational change and leading the program management office. Simon has held several leadership roles in the information technology and healthcare fields. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the planning, development, delivery, and monitoring of technical solutions that address the needs of his customers in support of their missions. Simon has gained relevant experience in implementation and management in both operational and strategic environments across various technical competencies. Industry Experience Chief Information Officer - Spirit of Tasmania Spirit of Tasmania is a company which has been operating ferries from mainland Australia to Tasmania since July 1985. The company was separated from the Tasmanian Government's Department of Transport in 1993, becoming a government business enterprise. Simon manages the day-to-day operations coordinating and managing the various functions within Office of the Chief Information Officer. Simon also coordinates with and provides advice to the senior leadership regarding IT, information management, information assurance, and website activities management and operations. Chief Information Officer - Transdev Asia Pacific Prior to his selection as CIO Simon served as the Chief Information Officer for Transdev Asia Pacific, where he provided executive leadership on IT policy and oversight for information governance, compliance, and departmental policy, as well as managed Transdev transformation portfolio.
