The Advanced Strategic Capabilities Accelerator: A mission based approach to problem solving

14.00pm - 14.15pm
Presentation Details
The Defence Strategic Review brought into sharp focus the fact that Australia is in the middle of an evolving and challenging strategic environment, made even more uncertain by rapid technological development. The Advanced Strategic Capabilities Accelerator (ASCA) is designed to turn innovative technologies into capabilities to help take defence further and faster towards addressing these threats.
ASCA addresses Defence’s highest strategic priorities with a different mindset. We will harness and partner with some of the best minds in the country from industry and academia to rapidly solve Defence’s challenges. This will ensure game-changing ideas are developed into capabilities that give the ADF an asymmetric advantage.
Join Professor Michelle Gee to hear about how ASCA will deliver against current and future Defence Challenges through facilitating the ongoing supply of ideas and technologies within the innovation system and how you can get involved.
