Since first announced to Industry in 2018, JP9111 has progressed to the point of becoming a foundational Department of Defence IT project, responsible for delivering Warfighting Networks and Applications (WNA) capabilities to enable the ADF to operate as an Integrated Force, over the next decade.
After achieving First Pass in August 2023, and tracking to Second Pass in late 2024, WNA is seeking to invest in long term strategic industry partnerships and building Australian Industry Capability. There are significant opportunities for Defence Industry to participate and support WNA development, delivery, support and sustainment now and into the future. The WNA ecosystem is expected to enable and accelerate dozens of downstream dependent projects.
This update will highlight the current approach to JP9111 development and delivery and where and when industry opportunities will exist.
