Session 3.6e Update: OpenAI Information Assistant - Using Emerging Technology and Artificial Intelligence for more Trusted Human-machine Teaming

Tracks
Thursday, November 16, 2023
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM
Sutherland Theatre

Through a practical set of demonstrations, learn how to use emerging technology and artificial intelligence for more trusted human-machine teaming with the OpenAI Information Assistant. The objective of the OpenAI: Information Assistant is to leverage a combination of AI components that will enable users to have a “conversation” with their own data, as if they were speaking to an expert. The Information Assistant accelerator provides a means to provide industry, technical and deployment truth for the application of AI, as well as education on which components to use and when/where they may be applicable. Explore how the Information Assistant will focus on ensuring that “responses” to questions aka “prompts” are:
  • Current - Ensure the responses are based on the latest “up to date” information
  • Relevant – The responses must leverage domain specific data which is not “generally available”
  • Factual - Ensure that the response is not “creative” aka “Hallucination”
  • Provenance - Ensure that the response has provenance – Where did you source the information to create this response?
  • Methodology - Providing details on how that response was created. What was your process?
