STar Shots is a Defence Science & Technology program to activate technology coverage across a variety of key initiatives that will enable the Australian Defence Force to effectively and efficiently modernise capabilities.
In this workshop, you will get an overview of where Confluent plays a key role in STar Shots. Confluent is a technology infrastructure that excels at both peripheral and central acquisition, aggregation and actuation of digital, and sometimes analog assets, Kafka technologies can be deployed across a variety of mission critical applications, bringing highly valuable research to life.

Victoria works in the Advanced Technologies Group at Confluent, with a background systems engineering for Cyber Threat, Disconnected Edge and high performance compute and data processing, Victoria works with NATO and Commonwealth agencies as well as organisations across various sectors of the global economy, with the goal of modernising their infrastructure with the Kafka ecosystem, and to enable sustainable awareness for situations, operations and missions. Previously known as Jeffrey, she is the author of Disruptive Possibilities, an O'Reilly publication.
