The Defence Strategic Review (DSR) outlined the requirement for a fully integrated and more capable ADF operating across five domains which work together to deliver enhanced combat power. For the personnel of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals (RA Sigs), the challenge of generating combat power for the Land Domain, in and through the Cyber and Space Domains is an accepted and rewarding experience. While Defence make major changes to risk and policy settings to increase retention and the speed of recruitment, the less-tangible attributes of mateship, professionalism and service placed within a technologically, mentally and physically challenging environment endure as a workforce value proposition that must remain a focus of capability development, design processes and training systems. COL Daniel Anderson will be joined by a variety of current serving RA Sigs ranks and trades to outline their views on contemporary service within the Integrated Force and answer questions on their expectations for the future from representatives across the C4 Capability System, Joint Leadership and Industry.
