Generative AI (GenAI) technologies are changing the way we access and interact with information. The ability for Large Language Models (LLMs) to understand the context of data and generate relevant, human-like responses can be leveraged to create new user experience paradigms.
Search is key to unlocking benefits from LLM and GenAI technology, allowing systems to understand user intent, relevance and specificity of responses never before seen. The expectations of Search have also grown: summaries of large bodies of knowledge, bringing relevant content to the user’s attention, listing instructions for tasks, and combining expert-level recommendations or conclusions will soon be users’ expectations of modern interfaces.
Separating hype from reality, mission ready from research project, and impactful use cases from the rest is crucial. Elasticsearch serves as a bridge between your private data and LLMs by adding mission-critical context, whilst preserving security controls. When you combine Elasticsearch, your proprietary data, and GenAI, you generate answers and insights that are accurate, relevant, actionable, and secure. Those answers can shape better productivity, decision making and situational awareness.
