Government organizations and commercial entities alike are struggling to combat the ever evolving and advanced threat landscape we face today. It feels like we are always a step behind the most advanced threat actors and hacking organizations regardless of the safeguards we have in place.
Many are turning to Zero Trust Architectures and technology to help mitigate attack vectors and reduce potential dwell times during a breach, but Zero Trust technology still has its weaknesses. In many Government circles, as the technology gains backing and continues to advance cyber professionals are looking to replace Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) with Zero Trust architectures but that can come at great costs.
ZT technology is not a replacement for CDS technology in protecting your most critical data and connections. It has become such a prevalent topic that US Governing bodies have released guidance to USG agencies that ZT is not a replacement for CDS in mission critical networks. In this talk, we will discuss ZT and CDS technologies and why CDS solutions are still critical to protect mission critical data and networks.
