Most C2ISR analysts and operators are overwhelmed with the amount of data that floods their work screen and they do not have time to view or make sense of all of it. This is not meant to imply that they aren’t proficient in their tradecraft; they are extremely proficient. The issue is that no human can process all of this data. The solution requires machines to help humans. Despite our advances in AI/ML, human wetware processing cycles are still required for final decision making—especially in positive or combat ID scenarios. However, machines can, and should, play a huge role in assisting humans with those decisions. Machines can nominate items of interest for final “wetware” validation. Our ADSI RAIN™ system is broader than just the AI/ML “make sense” component though. We utilize cross domain solutions (CDS) for data movement between disparate networks. Data from all security classification domains contributes to greater and faster truths in these dynamic situations. Running data analytics on combined data at speed and scale of machines is the only way to stay “left of the bang” and improve the probability of friendly forces success. This capability is crucial in modern warfare, where rapid information processing and dissemination can mean the difference between success and failure. Ultra’s ADSI RAIN™ human-machine teaming capabilities enhance friendly warfighter success by improving situational awareness, bridging ISR to C2, reducing cognitive load, and allowing junior operators and analysts to operate at levels of proficiency typically only acquired after decades of experience. The combination of human ingenuity and machine precision, speed, and scale creates synergistic superior outcomes that significantly improve mission accomplishment in the complex theater of modern warfare. From where we stand, it always “looks like RAIN!”
