This workshop aims to equip participants with the skills to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling language that resonates with policymakers and the general public alike. Through interactive activities and practical exercises, attendees will learn strategies to bridge the gap between technical expertise and accessible communication, empowering them to effectively engage with government stakeholders. Success Criteria: 1. Participants can articulate the significance of clear communication in government settings. 2. Participants can identify technical jargon and translate it into plain, understandable language. 3. Participants demonstrate an understanding of strategies for effective communication with government stakeholders. 4. Participants actively engage in workshop activities and contribute to discussions. We will provide workshop materials/resources, including a list of common jargon terms and communication strategies.
