Details
Containers have been identified as the way of the future when it comes to the deployment of technology in a rapid, meaningful manner. Additionally, open source technology is widely recognised as an increasingly valuable method for DevOps - especially when the wider community can be involved.
This freedom, however, comes with risks. Without security implementations, organisations are in danger of attack - whether by a malicious actor or from internal sources.
This tutorial will focus on open source technologies to protect containers; using available toolsets to explain why we need to implement measures, and how to secure our container stacks using the available technologies.
This session is useful for any technologist looking to secure their container-based stack, or for anyone interested in employing containers in an environment that requires compliance or an elevated level of security.
