In this session, Tom Keane, Senior Vice President at Anduril Industries, will discuss how advancements in artificial intelligence, software and hardware are coming together to connect and integrate every asset on the battlefield to re-shape the future of warfighting.
The next generation of computing device for command and control technologies is now essential, as militaries across the globe are actively transitioning to human-to-machine and machine-to-machine teaming, and huge numbers of autonomous systems are being introduced into military service.
The time is now to ensure we achieve the technological edge that will underpin our national security. When every soldier is a node, and every capability is a computer, the need for distributed hardware and mesh networks to reduce the sensor-to-shooter timeline and enable multi-domain operations at the speed of relevance has never been more important.
Tom is an Australian engineer who had an impactful career at Microsoft before joining Anduril, and led the team that built “The World’s Computer” - hyperscale infrastructure providing 85% of the planets GDP with data residency and high availability across over 30 countries.
