Coalition cyber and communications units face a common problem. Mission success depends on moving intelligence and telemetry across classification boundaries fast enough to act on, and legacy perimeter security and cross domain guards often block that sharing.
This session looks at how Zero Trust principles, paired with modern cross domain solutions and hardware enforced data diodes, let operators move the right data, to the right enclave, at the right classification, without opening a path back in. That discipline matters more now than it did two years ago. Frontier AI models are lowering the cost of reconnaissance and automated intrusion faster than legacy defenses were built to handle, and hardware enforced, one way data flow remains effective regardless of adversary tooling. Michael will show how strict data flow control and verifiable one way transfer support fusion of cyber defense data, GEOINT, SIGINT, and mission telemetry across national and coalition networks, including Five Eyes sharing challenges.
Using recent operational deployments as reference points, Michael will present architectures supporting mission defense teams, base communications units, and units protecting critical infrastructure. Attendees will see how Zero Trust aligned cross domain architectures accelerate incident response and threat hunting while staying inside defense and government accreditation boundaries.

Biography
Michael Blake is a Technical Fellow and Chief Architect with over 25 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and securing complex software and cyber systems in support of government and defense missions. He has led the planning, architecture, and lifecycle management of cross-domain and cyber defense solutions now fielded across tactical and enterprise environments.
Michael played a pivotal role in the acquisition of the ACS business unit by DC Capital and its integration into Owl Cyber Defense’s portfolio, where he leads a 30-person team responsible for product roadmaps, sales strategy, technical engagements with certification and accreditation bodies, and corporate strategy. His current focus is helping DoD, Air Force, and coalition partners operationalize Zero Trust and secure data sharing to enable resilient, multi-domain operations.
