Presentation Outline
This session explores how organisations can move beyond passive threat intelligence consumption to an operationalised model that drives real-time security outcomes across deployed and mission environments. Co-presented by Fujitsu and Darktrace, it demonstrates how to fuse external threat intelligence, behavioural intelligence generated from the environment, and operational context to protect critical assets and “crown jewels” across mission systems, logistics, ports, and deployed IT/OT. Fujitsu will show how intelligence is translated into detection logic, enriched alerting, and proactive response actions within security operations and defence. Darktrace will illustrate how Self-Learning AI establishes “normal” behaviour to detect novel threats where traditional indicators may be incomplete or delayed. Together, this approach reduces dwell time, lowers operator workload, and enables faster, higher-confidence decision-making in high-tempo operational environments.

Biography
Daniel Broad leads a highly skilled, globally connected team delivering 24/7 cyber defence, threat intelligence and incident response services to government and enterprise clients across Australia and New Zealand. He has a proven track record in building and scaling high-performing security operations teams, with expertise spanning technical cyber defence, security operations centre design and the leadership of large-scale managed security services. Throughout his career, Daniel has driven innovation and sovereign cyber capability across both public and private sector organisations, including serving as Director of Cyber Operations and Intelligence for Federal Government agencies.
Kiranraj Govindaraj (KG) is a Strategic Account Director at Darktrace, where he leads strategic engagements across Defence, national security and critical infrastructure in Australia and New Zealand. He works closely with government and industry to apply Darktrace's Adaptive AI to the hardest problems in cyber — detecting novel and insider threats across complex IT and OT environments where traditional, indicator-based defences fall short.
