The speed of threat evolution demands a new delivery model.
In this presentation, we share how defence organisations can compress capability delivery from years to weeks by combining AI with mission-focused hackathons and disciplined governance. We showcase rapid-impact use cases across cyber defence, C4I decision support, and secure communications — demonstrating resilient edge AI in contested environments and a data fabric that respects sovereignty and zero-trust principles.
Attendees will leave with a practical 90-day playbook: how to select mission problems, ready data, build and harden models, validate with red-teaming, and transition to operations with ATO-relevant artifacts. Biography
Heinrich is the General Manager for Public Services at SAP and is part of the governance structure of all Defense and Public Sector programs.
Previously Global Vice President of Defense and Security for five years and “Chief Innovation Officer Public Services” Heinrich focused next to Public Services innovations mainly on our S/4HANA Defense Roadmap. “Together as one” with 11 Defense organizations he acted as program head and trusted advisor based on profound business and application knowledge.
Until 2016 Heinrich served as “Global Head of Business Transformation Services Public Services“ globally. In that role he and his team developed the external as well as the SAP-internal engagement models for strategic customers. By translating customer’s vision and mission into multi-year roadmaps to enable digital transformation, optimisation and innovation. During these eight years, he built up his own global network across the entire Public Services eco-system, with a clear focus on Defense Organizations. Until 2007 he served as Infantry Officer in the Austrian Armed Forces and deployed twice to the Kosovo peace-keeping mission as Company Commander. Heinrich is still an active reserve officer in the MoD Austria. He is currently working on the digitization of the 7th Jaegerbrigade.
