Presentation Outline

On the ground, at sea, and at the tactical edge, coalition advantage depends on whether allied and partner forces can connect, share information, and sustain operations together — especially across the distances and dispersed postures that define the Indo-Pacific. Andrew McLennan will outline how Amazon's proliferated LEO network is evolving to help close that gap, including capabilities designed to give coalition forces more pathways for mission-critical data, greater geographic diversity, and a faster route to interoperable operations. The update will cover what has changed in the network and what those changes mean in practice: more options to connect, more ways to reroute when links are disrupted, and a common infrastructure layer that lets allied forces operate together without requiring every nation to build from the ground up. The measure of success for Australia and its partners is straightforward: can a coalition share information, adapt when networks are degraded, and sustain operations as one force?
