CONFERENCE POSTPONED

The AVA committee has resolved to postpone the conference to the first quarter of 2022, with the objective of it being a live event. More details will be announced in due course.

INVITATION TO ATTEND

Dear Colleagues

We are delighted to announce a return of the multidisciplinary AVA Voice Conference with a wonderful, stimulating and jam-packed program featuring leading professionals in the voice field. Our theme “ONE VOICE” will embrace cohesion and collaboration in our quest to strive for excellence in voice care across all dimensions. Our program will include Papers, Posters, Workshops, Masterclasses and Interactive Panels to educate and stimulate discussion among our scientific and artistic communities on current thinking and advances in voice science, art, care and training. Our keynote speakers have been thoughtfully selected, not only for their highly regarded expertise and cogent skillsets, but also for their engaging personalities and commitment to a strong team approach.

The AVA is also proud to collaborate for the first time with the Voice Committee of the International Association of Logopedics and Phoniatrics (IALP) to offer a truly international voice program with wide appeal across all areas of voice. ENT surgeons, singing and speaking voice teachers, scientists, speech pathologists, performers and students will all come together to share the most up-to-date research findings, pedagogical and therapeutic techniques, voice programs and improved surgical methods in the field of voice medicine.  This ‘not-to-be-missed’ conference promises to be an excellent forum to meet with colleagues, see product demonstrations, earn continuing education credits and celebrate our common goals and diversity of approaches in voice. We look forward to seeing you there!

On behalf of the Australian Voice Association Professional Development Committee and Voice Committee International Association Logopedics & Phoniatrics

Dear Colleagues

It is with a great sense of anticipation that I invite you to join us in Melbourne for the Australian Voice Association’s 2022 Conference: One Voice.

The National AVA Board has prepared the framework for what promises to be a most exciting gathering of our collective disciplines: Laryngology, Speech Pathology, Singing and Spoken Voice teachers as well as allied voice care professionals.

Our vision for the conference looks towards two days of exceptional professional development presented by keynote speakers of international standing. The robust program of learning will be complemented by opportunities to network with friends and colleagues, both old and new.

I look forward to personally greeting you in Melbourne.

Daniel Robinson
Australian Voice Association President
