PGCS 2025 Research Proposal

The Project Governance and Controls Symposium (PGCS) is pleased to announce that the research topic developed for 2025 is:

“Enabling Improved Outcomes Through Data-Driven Decision Making (DDDM) in Major Projects”

This initiative continues PGCS’s ongoing research program to address contemporary challenges in the delivery of major project and program across Defence, other Government departments and Industry.

The PGCS Walt Lipke Research Grant for this proposal is set at:

  • $AUD 20,000 (GST inclusive) for Stage 1, and
subject to PGCS Director approval
  • $AUD 20,000 (GST inclusive) for Stage 2,
for a total amount of $AUD 40,000 (GST inclusive).

  3.    Complete and sign the PGCS research grant 2025 application form here
  4.    Complete the PGCS research grant proposal as described in the proposal form here

An electronic copy of the signed PGCS grant application form, research proposal and all supporting documents must be submitted to PGCS at pgcs@consec.com.au by close of business on Friday 21 November 2025.

The successful research grant recipient will be announced by Friday 12 December 2025.
