PGCS Research Proposal for CASG / Defence / Government

The PGCS is pleased to announce that in consultation with the Deputy Secretary CASG, Mr Chris Deeble AO, CSC a specific research topic has been developed for 2024 which is designed to address the overarching question of:

“What needs to be different for project management and controls practices going forward” to address the contemporary major project and program delivery challenges being faced by Defence, other Government departments and Industry.

Mr. Deeble has agreed to make himself and his direct reports available to the successful researchers to facilitate successful outcomes from the research conducted.

Due to the particular importance attached to this research proposal, the PGCS has waived our usual eligibility criteria (which limited research proposals from academics and researchers based within Australasia) with research proposals invited from academics, researchers and/or practitioners globally.

The PGCS Walt Lipke Research Grant for the PGCS research proposal for CASG has been set at $AUD 25,000 (GST inclusive where applicable).
