September in Canberra is cool with average temperatures between 4 - 16°C.
Given the city's average elevation of 570m (1870 feet), meaning UV radiation can be high.
In September the mornings and evenings are brisk so make sure to pack a thick, warm jacket. Take an umbrella and wear layers that can be worn as needed.

Early Bird registration fees are available until Sunday 30 June 2024.

Paid attendees who find themselves unable to attend the convention after submitting a registration form are most welcome to nominate a substitute. In the case of a cancellation, attendees must inform Consec – Conference and Event Management in writing of their inability to attend. A refund of the registration fee, less a cancellation fee of $155 (AUD) including GST will be made on or before Friday 23 August 2024. NO refunds will be made to anything after Friday 23 August 2024. Any change made to a registration within seven (7) days of the convention will incur a $40 administrative fee.
In registering for this convention, relevant details will be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates (name and organisation, state/country only - in accordance with the Australian National Privacy Act) and may be made available to parties directly related to the convention including Consec - Conference and Event Management, AOC Australia, the convention organising committee and venues (for the purposes of meeting options), key partners (subject to strict conditions) and parties associated with related conventions.

PCI Compliance - Security of the Cardholders Account Data
Consec's online payment system is PCI (payment card industry) version 3 level 1 compliant - this is the highest standard possible.
Within this certification, our payment system is required to:
Perform yearly onsite audits by a PCI DSS QSA.
Perform external penetration tests of our sites once a year.
Perform internal/external vulnerability tests once a quarter.
Program guard against the top ten internet vulnerabilities called OWASP top 10.
Deploy a Web Application Firewall which inspects every packet (data intrusion, SQL injection, Request Site Forgery XSS.)
Deploy File Integrity Monitors.
Safe Log Files and guard log files against tampering.
Double encrypt sensitive data once with Rijndael 128bit and a second time RSA 2048-bit key length.
Follow separation of keys.
Lock keys in an unreachable vault.
Recycle passwords every 90 days.
Perform Background checks for new employees with the Federal Crime Authority.
Employ Development Lifecycle Processes and Procedures.
Onboard/Off board employees.
Minimize access to sensitive systems.

The convention program and registration information are correct at the time of viewing/printing. However, the organisers reserve the right to change the information where necessary without notice.
Attendees are advised that photographs may be taken during the convention and reproduced for promotional purposes.
In the event of industrial disruptions, AOC Australia and the convention organisers accept no responsibility. In the event of the venue becoming unusable or other circumstances or the need to cancel the conventions, there can be no liability on AOC Australia or the organisers.
We endeavour to ensure delegates attending the convention with specific needs are catered for. Should you require particular assistance, please make a note on your registration form or contact Consec - Conference and Event Management via email aocconvention@consec.com.au.
Delegates will be regarded in every aspect as carrying their own risk for loss or injury to persons or property, including baggage during the convention. We strongly recommend that at the time of booking your travel and tours, you take out a travel insurance policy of your choice.
The policy should include the loss of deposit through cancellation, medical insurance, loss or damage to personal property, financial loss incurred through disruptions to accommodation or travel arrangements. The organisers are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance.
Your name badge is your entry to convention sessions and exhibition. If you misplace your name badge, please go to the registration desk and ask for a replacement.

A goods and services tax of 10% is levied on most purchases in Australia and is included in the purchase price of the goods or services. You may be eligible for a refund of the GST on goods purchased in Australia.
