Gala Dinner
The Gala Dinner is the premier social event of Seed Business Convention 2026, bringing together leaders, innovators and professionals from across the Australian seed industry for an evening of celebration and connection.
Held on Wednesday 19 August 2026 at Pullman Melbourne on the Park, the Gala Dinner is a highlight of the convention program. It offers delegates the opportunity to strengthen relationships, acknowledge industry excellence and recognise those who have made an outstanding contribution to our sector.
The evening includes the presentation of the Australian Seed Federation Awards, celebrating leadership, service and impact across the industry.

Nominations are now open for the 2026 Australian Seed Federation Awards.
These awards will be presented during the Gala Dinner at Seed Business Convention 2026 in Melbourne.
Nominations close Friday 26 June 2026.

We encourage members and industry colleagues to nominate individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, leadership and service to the Australian seed industry.
Award categories and nominations
The President’s Award
The President’s Award recognises an individual for their long term service and exceptional contribution to the Australian seed industry.
Nominees do not need to be current or former ASF members. They may be any individual who has dedicated themselves to serving the industry.
Women in Seed Award
Sponsored by Centor Oceania, the Women in Seed Award recognises and celebrates a dedicated woman in the Australian seed industry who has demonstrated outstanding commitment, leadership and lasting impact.
Emerging Leader Award
Sponsored by RAGT Australia, the Emerging Leader Award recognises and celebrates an individual who is already making a strong impact in the Australian seed industry, with less than seven years of experience in the sector.
